Explore Miami and North Bay Village
Tucked between Miami and Miami Beach, North Bay Village comprises three islands - North Bay Island, Harbor Island and Treasure Island all linked by the 79th Street Causeway spanning Biscayne Bay from Miami to Miami Beach. This trio of tropical isles offers visitors the best of both worlds, close proximity to the bustle of Downtown Miami and the sun-kissed shores of Miami Beach, as well as easy access to two key gateways, Miami International Airport and the Port of Miami.
Palm trees, marinas, popular restaurants and high-rise luxury condominiums dot the area which, until 1940, lay largely beneath the surface of Biscayne Bay. Dredging laid the foundation for streets and buildings, as well as restaurants and nightclubs that drew celebrities including Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, who owned the North Bay Village nightclub Dino's.
Today, visitors to the area continue to enjoy a collection of great restaurants and shops, as well as easy access to the attractions of Miami Beach.
